Mini adventure - alpha launch


Hi all!
I want to present a small game I created. This is basically a rogue-like where you get to choose one among three cards as the next part of your adventure. Some of those are encounters, whereas others constitute simple training or treasures found along the way. Whether encounters can be someone Strong or Clever is left for your intuition, so do read the flavor text. Often, either of those works. The goal is to get as many adventure points as you can, which can be done by defeating encounters.

The player has a couple stats (tough=max HP, strong, clever), plus Talent that's hidden. So it may be worth trying to continue with even seemingly worthless builds because they may evolve into something amazing . Characters also have some traits that you learn about as you go.

Even if you can train (which gives a randomized stat transfer), total stats are fixed, so the game does not scale infinitely. Lost stat points are always converted to hidden talent. 

Traits are only very rarely modified, though they are mainly nice-to-haves. Finally, you may find certain powerful options only conditionally. Read the flavor text to get a glimpse on why, or don't concern yourself with it and have fun. Do not shy away from strong encounters either! You may find especially useful follow-ups.

Disclaimer: I did use AI for generating all art, which I consider ok given that spectactle is by no means the focus. I'd stick to unicode emojis everywhere for this prototype if their appearance was not so inconsistent. I am looking to draw something properly myself as a mini project.
